Morning Commute, Pasay
F.B. Harrison St from the corner of Sen. Gil Puyat
Avenue, Pasay City. July 2008, 7am.
The working day starts early in Metro Manila. First light is usually
around 5.30am with little seasonal variation, and rush hour starts soon
afterwards. School hours in the Philippines typically start early with
a break during the hottest part of the afternoon, while many malls and
shopping centres remain closed until late morning, but are open well
into the night.
This photo shows a typical early-morning street scene in the city.
